Consultant Gastroenterologist & Transplant Hepatologist

Dr. Maen AlMattooq is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Transplant Hepatologist at Jaber AlAhmad Hospital and Farwaniya Hospital, Kuwait. He received his undergraduate medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at King Khalid University Hospital and King Faisal Specialist Hospital. He subsequently completed a Hepatology fellowship at the University of Calgary and the University of Alberta, Canada. His clinical interests include metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD/NASH) and liver transplantation.
