Professor of Medicine and Consultant Gastroenterologist at the College of Medicine, University of Sulaimani, Iraq. He serves as Director of the Kurdistan Higher Council of Medical Specialities–Sulaimani Office and Director of the Arab Board of Internal Medicine–Sulaimani Training Centre. He has held several leadership roles in postgraduate medical education and academic publishing, including Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Sulaimani Medical College.
